i'm looking for the best (and free) to create my own site on. What site is the best at attracting a lot of people to your site? Which site is the most popular? Thnx for all your help! I appreciate it!

First, i would like to ask if you can afford to buy a domain for your website? If not, then you should try making a free one. May i know what is your niche for the site that you are thinking to create?

Yes, that's the best blogging platform. If ellain4 wants to earn money online through adsense, then just try to use Blogger.

Best stie to create your own website ??? Well you u can use blogger or wordpress to create your own blog which is consider your own site. If you want more control of the backend aspect of your site, try find a hosting provider and host your site there.

But doing a site from scratch is definitely hard if you don't have any background on web designing and coding. Pls hosting can be a big pain.

Starting from scratch would be a great thing to do. At least he will going to experience how to do it by himself and by being creative on what he wanted his site to be. But then like what others said, it can be VERY hard! Try it and you will know.

Yes, of course! That takes a lot of time but if he is really interested to do it on his own, then let him be. At least he will have experience how hard it will be.

i believe it's wordpress script with so many templates to choose from and powerful plugins to install it's a breeze since moving from blogspot to wordpress ..I never had enough of wordpress ...almost all succesful blogger are using wordpress ..but you need to undergo a tutorials or better go their forums to learn more about this powerful script

You are correct. Wordpress is kinda more tricky than Blogger. It is even considered as a blogging platform for geeks.
