Default Google brings Quake II to the browser with HTML5

I just read this news yesterday, some Google engineers have made use of Google Web Toolkit and HTML5, and now we can play Quake II in web browser. I've watched the video uploaded to youtube, it's really quite amazing!
Also, this is the first time I've heard of Google Web Toolkit and HTML5. It seems like there are many new technologies out there.

I wonder if we can just play the game, or we need to download the codes and host it somewhere.

is this the answer to facebook game application i believe google is developing application for gamers since it is now becoming more popular nowadays

I remember playing it for hours years ago...
HTML 5 seems better and better
